Taking music production to an all new level, Goa's seasoned talent, Dr. Varun Carvalho launched his debut album ' I gotta go home' at an exclusive concert at the International Centre, Dona Paula. The album features some of the best musicians in India and is packed with 10 songs to appeal to everyone's listening and dancing taste.
Arranged by New Delhi based Goan musician, Andrew Ferrao with contribution from some of the best minds in the music field in India, Varun has tied up with London based AMI Records to market this album in the United Kingdom and other select countries. The notable Roy Menezes who produced the first two albums for Euphoria has produced this debut album of Varun. The album has been mixed in Singapore and mastered in the UK.
Among the 10 brilliantly composed and soulful songs include the tribute to Goa called, 'The Goa Song' which is bound to keep everyone's feet tapping. Another notable track is 'Turn the tide', which is inspired by the many terror attacks and disharmony in the country.
Speaking to media at the launch, Dr. Varun Carvalho said, "I have always been passionate about music. This album is a dream come true for me.
